Simple Non Religious Wedding

Procession: Please rise for the Bride
Who gives this woman to marry?  Please be seated

We are here today in the presence of friends and family and in the spirit of those who are unable to attend in person, to join together Heather and Frank in marriage.

Marriage is a sincere and mutual commitment to love one another and work toward creating a life together in an atmosphere of care, consideration and respect.

The act of uniting a man and woman in marriage is one of the oldest and most respected ceremonies.
Marriage is honorable among all persons, and is not to be entered into lightly, but with reverence for its responsibilities.

Happiness in a marriage is not something that just happens.
A good marriage must be created and nurtured on a daily basis.
In the art of marriage the little things are the big things.

It is never being too old to hold hands.
It is remembering to say “I love you.” Every day
It is having a mutual sense of values and common objectives.
It is standing together, & doing things for each other in the spirit of giving.
It is speaking words of appreciation, and showing gratitude in thoughtful ways.
It is cultivating flexibility, patience, understanding and above all a sense of humor.
It is having the ability to forgive and forget,  and move on with your journey together.
It is not only marrying the right partner, it is being the right partner.
